The whole catalogue, row by rowThe mailbox, the messages you already received, the accounts you configured and the export work without a licence. Neither is security charged for: PGP, attachment scanning and tracker blocking come with the free edition. Charging not to get infected is not a plan, it is a threat.
Nothing about the mail is blocked. The Pro families go back to the free edition; accounts you already had keep syncing, messages are read and exported, and the system alert and the envelope stay. Updates do not depend on the licence either: if there is a new version, it arrives.
Yes: 14 days with every Pro feature, no email and no card. When it ends you fall back to the free edition and nothing is deleted.
There is an upgrade product priced at the difference: US$20 instead of US$59. It issues a new Pro+ key and your Pro key stays alive, so you lose nothing you paid for.
No. There is no one-year window and no date after which the app stands still: every new version reaches the licence you already bought, with nothing to renew.

30-day refunds, no questions. The licence is revoked with a seven-day grace so nothing cuts off abruptly.
Per computer: Pro covers two and Pro+ five. The same person can use both of theirs without using an extra seat.
